Fit & operations
How much floor space does a cell take?+
A single-cobot cell — arm, carousel, matte-backdrop pick station, and controller — fits on an existing bench. Layout details come out of the Phase 1 assessment.
Which SKUs are the best fit to start?+
High-volume, stable-geometry arrangements — often a hero grocery SKU or a repeated event bouquet. We start with one SKU, prove the cell, then expand.
Does FloraBot need a special network?+
Yes. A wired, low-latency connection back to Sunflower is required for recipes, substitutions, and MES functions. Wi-Fi is not supported for the control path.
Safety & integration
Is it safe to work near the cell?+
Safety planes, force and speed limits, and protective stops live on the robot controller and are never bypassed. Every cell goes through a formal risk assessment before production.
How does it integrate with Sunflower?+
Sunflower holds the recipe (BOM), work order, and backflush of consumption. FloraBot reads the recipe and writes back per-unit quality, exceptions, and utilization.
Rollout & delivery
How long to go live?+
The RaaS path is 3 phases: assessment (1–3 weeks), build and offline test (2–4 weeks), then install and go-live (1–7 days).
RaaS vs. purchase?+
RaaS is our default delivery model — no capital purchase, ongoing service, and the flexibility to scale cells with your season. Purchase paths exist for the right cases; request a quote for either.
